SymfonyLive Cologne 2016 - Workshop
Wie in den vergangenen Jahren werden auch in diesem Jahr mehrere Workshops angeboten. Die Workshops werden von qualifizierten Experten durchgeführt, die seit Jahren mit und an Symfony arbeiten sowie langjährige Erfahrung in der Realisierung von PHP-Projekten haben.
Die Workshops finden am Mittwoch, dem 27.04.2016, und Donnerstag, dem 28.04.2016 von jeweils 09.00 Uhr bis ca. 18.00 Uhr statt, wobei jeweils 5 Workshops parallel laufen - ihr könnt also an insgesamt 2 Workshops teilnehmen. Zwischendurch gibt es zwei Kaffee- sowie eine Mittagspause, bei denen jeweils für das leibliche Wohl gesorgt ist.
Integrating existing Symfony framework applications with eZ Platform, a full stack Symfony CMS by Jani Tarvainen, Professional Services Consultant at eZ Systems
eZ Platform is the next generation content management platform from eZ Systems. It is a ground-up new CMS built on over 15 years of experience with Content Management. Built using the Full Stack Symfony Framework, it is able to integrate existing Symfony2 functionalities. Your application can use and combine functionalities from the eZ content repository and your custom functionalities, including Doctrine ORM entities and so on. In this workshop we'll discover what eZ Platform offers developers and how you can integrate your existing Symfony Bundles to it.

About Jani Tarvainen
Jani is a a web professional with over 16 years of experience in various roles in development projects with JavaScript and PHP, support operations and management.
He has technical skills in web development, Web Content Management Systems (eZ Platform / Publish, WordPress, Drupal…) and basic Linux systems administration. Experience in management, recruiting and a special interest in Online Marketing, SEO and analysis of user behaviour using tools such as Google Analytics, AdSense and Webmaster tools.
