I'll be honest here, i have noticed that we ourselves don't always tag content as well as we could or should, this is not just different teams missing this important task - i've done it myself! Now, we do now have a prompt in our own installation of Ibexa DXP that highlights missing fields upon content creation, which is great, but having a helping hand in automating this task (especially in batch if you wish to review historical content) is something that can be of great benefit.

OpenAI and other commercial providers like Google are often top-of-mind when it comes to generative AI. But there are a number of open AI models available too. Hugging Face is a platform that hosts a number of open access AI models.

Let's learn how you can use the BART model running on Hugging Face to auto tag content in Ibexa DXP:

  1. Connect Ibexa DXP and hook it up to track new press releases. In our example the press releases are imported into Ibexa DXP from another source that does not include tagging information.
  2. Next load the taxonomy tags you have in Ibexa DXP. Move them forward as a comma separated list (tag one, tag two, tag three…)
  3. Open a connection to Hugging Face and call the facebook/bart-large-mnli model with the list of tags and body text of the press release as inputs.
  4. Update the content item with the list of tags that matched the content. BART uses a technique known as Zero Shot Text Classification to match content against keywords.
