Driving Digital Experience and Unlocking Full Potential: Ibexa at DMEXCO 2024

The DMEXCO 2024 once again set the direction for the industry - and rightly so. As Europe's leading Digital Marketing & Technology event, it was once again a great success in all its glory, and from Ibexa's perspective as well. Alongside six DACH partner companies, the DXP specialist actively contributed to DMEXCO 2024 with an inviting stand and three powerful masterclasses.

Ibexa and DMEXCO—A Natural Fit! Digital marketing natives in their natural habitat—this could describe Ibexa’s participation at Koelnmesse on September 18 and 19, 2024. With experience and confidence in this event cosmos, but always with fresh impressions, exciting insights, and, last but not least, innovative DXP developments, Ibexa, and its partners once again brought valuable elements to this renowned digital marketing spectacle.

DXP Meets DMEXCO: Active, Interactive, and Visionary

Ibexa thrives on networking, especially at major events and in collaboration with trusted partners. At DMEXCO we were joined by our DACH partners adesso, Comwrap Reply, I-D Media, and Logic Joe. OMMAX and schoene neue kinder also contributed to the overall stand presence and co-hosted two masterclasses.

In addition to three stage performances—two on Wednesday and one on Thursday—Ibexa and its DACH partners were present throughout the event in Hall 08.1, Stand C-010, engaging in lively DXP discussions and sharing insights. With 12 live product demonstrations by Senior Product Advocate Jani Tarvainen, there was no shortage of concise and valuable input.

Ibexa is known for fresh and fruitful ideas, not dry theory, and this was tastefully reflected at the booth. Visitors were treated to a "Favor with Flavor" with a selection of refreshing drinks including strawberry and mango smoothies, strawberry ginger, raspberry mojitos and virgin cocktails.

In addition to these treats, attendees could enjoy some gaming fun right at the booth. The Obstacle Run Game, powered by Ibexa Engage, invited attendees to score points in a challenging competition. The highest score won the grand prize: a Sony ZV-E10 digital camera!

From engaging booth activities to high-level masterclass expertise, Ibexa's Commercial Director for DACH, Tushar Marwaha, delivered a positive DMEXCO conclusion: "Through our activities, we demonstrated our deep expertise and commitment to outstanding DXP solutions. At the same time, we conveyed that Ibexa is strong in networking, bringing fresh energy and a think-outside-the-box mentality! We're already looking forward to seeing everyone again in Cologne in 2025.

Masterclass 1: Personalized Car Rental with ADAC and DXP

On Wednesday, September 18, from 10:45 to 11:15, Ibexa kicked off its DMEXCO Masterclass series. In collaboration with ADAC Car Rental, the theme was "Driving Fun with the Wow Factor". Dennis Herzing, Customer Experience Manager at Ibexa, and Kerstin Anger, SEO/Content Manager at ADAC Autovermietung, shared how the company achieved precise personalization with Ibexa DXP.

By integrating data, AI, and marketing automation, ADAC has perfected customer engagement. Herzing and Anger provided valuable insights into how Ibexa DXP facilitated ADAC's website relaunch with secure data integration and a highly personalized user experience. The Masterclass delivered a highly practical session that gave the audience a lively and vivid impression of the project.

Masterclass 2 with schoene neue kinder: Personalized B2B Outreach

The second Ibexa Masterclass followed on Wednesday afternoon from 4:45 to 5:15 p.m. Ibexa Partner Manager Stephanie Kawan and the agency schoene neue kinder, represented by Lead Consultant Michael Kirchberger, guided the audience through the key elements of personalized B2B customer outreach.

Under the title "Personalization & CDP in B2B: From Theory to Practice," the session lived up to its name with compelling real-world examples. A comprehensive look across marketing websites, Digital Experience Platforms (DXP), and Customer Data Platforms (CDP) provided valuable insights into effective B2B personalization strategies.

Masterclass 3 with OMMAX: The UmweltBank Website Relaunch

On the second day of DMEXCO, Ibexa and OMMAX rounded out the Masterclass series. On Thursday, September 19, from 12:15 to 12:45 pm, the focus was on the relaunch of the UmweltBank website. The session, titled "Relaunch of umweltbank.de - Why UmweltBank chose a Digital Experience Platform (DXP)," offered inspiring insights and practical takeaways. In collaboration with OMMAX's digital consultants, Ibexa laid the technological foundation for Germany's "green bank" to create a scalable and future-proof digital platform. 

The audience gained insights into UmweltBank's transformation goals and their implementation with the Ibexa DXP. Ibexa Partner Manager Ingo Hoffmann and OMMAX Partner Sven Vörtmann drew the line at how UmweltBank's sustainable banking was very well received thanks to the personalized customer experience. Philipp Langenbach from UmweltBank concluded the masterclass with practical experiences and first-hand insights.
